Different starting points. Same standard.
Some clients are starting again after years away. Others train five days a week and want to stop guessing. Everyone is assessed individually and coached to meet their specific needs.
- 01
New or returning
You haven’t trained in a while, or were never taught properly the first time. We start with the basics and build from there.
- 02
Already training
Consistent, but guessing. You want structure, progression, and someone who can give you feedback.
- 03
Building strength
You want to get measurably stronger and move well doing it. Not run a cookie cutter program written for someone else.
- 04
Working around something
An old injury or a restriction that flares up. We train around it, alongside whoever else is treating it.
Nothing is prescribed before it's understood.
- 01
Assessment
Your goals, your training history, and anything that has limited you. Then I watch you move: squat, hinge, press, pull, carry.
- 02
Program
Training chosen for what you actually need, loaded properly and progressed on a schedule you can keep.
- 03
Review
We re-test on a schedule and adjust. The program changes as you do.

“Mckenzie is hands-down one of the best coaches I’ve ever worked with. She is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and super easy to work with. She somehow manages to make lifting some heavy things actually fun.”
— Eduarda Castro
-
“Genius and gifted trainer. She knows what to teach and how to teach it. She also helps you improve and pushes you to do so. I can’t speak highly enough about coach Mckenzie.”
— Sai Alla
-
“I’ve been training with Mckenzie for just about three weeks now, and I’m already feeling a difference. As someone pretty new to fitness, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Mckenzie has been super supportive and really good at explaining everything clearly!”
— Kevin Torres
Three ways to train.
All three are personal training, assessed individually and coached the whole hour. Partner and small-group sessions are for people who bring their own; I don't put strangers together.
-
Private
1:1You and me for the full hour. The assessment, the program and the pace are all built around one person.
-
Partner
2:1The same coaching, shared with someone you bring, whether a spouse, a friend or a colleague. You're both assessed and programmed individually.
-
Small group
3:1Three of you, coached together, in a group you put together yourselves. Still assessed individually, still coached the whole hour.
Every format starts with the same free consultation.
